Obituary of Georgia Irene Nelson

Obituary Mother, Waitress, Wife, Community Volunteer, who never gave up, no matter what the obstacles. She will be remembered with Love. Georgia passed away on November 12, 2021, at 93 years of age after a battle with numerous health issues and heart disease; surrounded by family and friends at her home in Berthoud, Colorado. Georgia had a strong zest for life. She was always planning her next event, whether that was for the family or for her numerous friends. She loved cooking and serving up a delicious meal. She enjoyed the yearly seasons and decorated her kitchen for each next holiday. Even though her health conditions were sometimes poor her friends and family never noticed because she was interested in helping and serving her guests only. Anyone who knew Georgia could probably recall some memorable, funny moments. Georgia was very much loved and will be missed by her family and friends. Georgia is survived by her sons, Lynn Waring, Leonard Waring and Tom Nelson; her daughter's; Kim Monen and Jackie Bunker; her partner and roommate, Dean Sprague; her grandchildren; Kristina Adams, Kayda Whipple, Isaac Monen, Lakia Bailey, and Landon Waring; and many numerous great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
