Obituary of Charmaine Katherine Klasky

Charmaine Katherine Klasky was born on December 16, 1934 to Charlie and Mary Moore in Chicago, Illinois. She left this world she loved so much the morning of September 7, 2023 with her two youngest daughters by her side. She was married to Richard Matthew Klasky in 1954 and had 11 children. Charmaine visited Colorado twice in the 1970’s and fell in love with the Rocky Mountains, and in 1980 moved from Schaumburg, Illinois to Longmont, Colorado with 5 of her children. She moved to Boulder in 1986 where she remained until 2020. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Boulder for many years and sang in the choir. Her greatest joys in life were her family, hiking in the Rockies, swimming, music, space science, all things British and the Chicago Cubs. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lorelei and Delores; son, Richard and grandchildren, Sarah, Tristian and Elijah. She leaves behind her 10 children, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
